Renowned vocalist and Bharat Ratna Pt Bhimsen Joshi passed away this morning after a prolonged illness. He was 89. The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has condoled the demise of the legendary vocalist Pandit Bhimsen Joshi. The Union Culture Minister Kumari Selja also has condoled the death of legendary classical singer.
