Its a shift towards compromising, IPL commissioner Lalit Modi has said that a ‘window of possibility’ is still open for Pakistani cricketers to play in IPL-3 and in the Champions League later this year. Modi’s statement came a day after Union Home Minister Mr. P. Chidambaram slammed IPL organizers mentioning it a ‘disservice to cricket’ to overlook Pakistani players during the IPL3 auction.
Saheed Afridi expressed his desire to play in IPL3 , but still no response has came from franchises yet.
